What Vehicles are Covered?
Passenger motor vehicles including cars, vans, and small trucks. Leased vehicles are covered.

What is a Lemon?
Three unsuccessful repairs or 30 calendar days out of service within 1 year or warranty, which ever is shorter.

Notice Requirement
Written notice to manufacturer by certified mail and opportunity to repair only if manufacturer informed consumer of such at time of sale. Manufacturer has 10 days to notify consumer of repair facility. Facility has 10 days to repair.

South Carolina does have a State-run arbitration program.
